First opened on the 3rd March 1953 by Eddie and Edna Hodgkinson, Bank top garage has remained in the family is now run by two of their Son's , Chris and Andrew.

Many of our older customers bought cars from Edna & Eddie and now their families follow in their footsteps.

Chris is the main MOT tester at the garage for over 45 years now and he runs the workshop where we Service and repair all makes and models of vehicles.

Andrew is on Car sales. With over 35 years experience he is always ready to find our customers the right car for them.  

Our service advisor and parts guru Nick has worked at the garage since leaving school. Working at the garage for over 45 years his knowledge is invaluable.

Keeping it in the family, Sarah, Chris' daughter is on the main reception and is a multiple winner of the Ford Autoteam competition. Sarah is now also on hand to help with any plate transfers, admin and account enquiries.

In the workshop we have our Ford trained technician and MOT tester, Jake. We now also have our apprentice Calum who is learning the trade with us. They work alongside Chris helping maintain our customers vehicles and preparing all our sales vehicles ready for our sales customers.

Andrew's daughter Megan is now working part time for us - you may get a call from her about your MOT reminder. Megan is general reception so helping in service and sales aspects of the business.
